About Course

This 5-day virtual classroom training course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS). It is certified by Exemplar Global and provides hands-on training to ensure participants understand auditing principles, techniques, and practices.

The course covers essential topics such as ISO 9001 requirements, audit planning, conducting an audit, reporting results, and corrective actions. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the high-level structure (HLS), the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, and auditing methodologies.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive an MCAB Accreditations Certificate of Completion. After completion of this course, applicants can enroll to the “ISO 9001:2015 QMS Lead Auditor Training Course” to receive an Exemplar Global-registered Certificate of Achievement, providing them with international recognition and professional credibility as a Lead Auditor.

This section will provide an introduction to auditing and ISO 9001:2015 including definitions and general knowledge. The topics covered in this section include common terminology, principles of auditing, types of audits, audit processes, ISO 9001 explained, and Annex SL.

Competence and Evaluation of Auditors
This section will focus on the competence and evaluation of auditors. The topics covered in this section include the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become an effective auditor.

Management Systems and Audit Programmes
This section will focus on management systems and audit programmes. The topics covered in this section include types of management systems and how to develop them, quality plans, managing audit programmes and responsibilities, and how to implement an audit programme and management system.

Audit Team and Phases
This section will focus on the audit team and phases of an audit. The topics covered in this section include audit phases, initiating the audit, scheduling, selecting the audit team, roles and responsibilities of audit team members, and good practice measures.

Conducting an Audit
This section will focus on the process for conducting an audit. The topics covered in this section include preparing for an on-site audit, audit methods, document reviews, preparing the audit plan and checklist, conducting an opening meeting, effective communication strategies, audit team member roles during the audit, nonconformities, and the conclusion of the audit.

Audit Report and Evaluation
This section will focus on completing the audit report and evaluation. The topics covered in this section include audit follow-ups, corrective actions, audit findings, how to conduct a closing meeting, evaluation process, preparing, approving, and distributing the audit report, and maintenance and improvement of competence.
